Starring Farhan Akhtar, the film tells the story of Indian athlete Milkha Singh who represented India at the 1956 Olympics in Melbourne, the 1960 summer Olympics in Rome and the 1964 summer Olympics in Tokyo. As a boy, Milkha saw his entire family massacred in front of his eyes during the partition of India and Pakistan. And all he could see and remember was his dying father screaming to him "Bhaag ..Bhaag Milkha Bhaag." (Run . . . Run Milkha Run). And these were the words that defined the saga of one of the greatest sportsperson on Indian soil.
